The scheduled router firmware updates have now been completed.
All routers that were online during the update window have been updated as part of our infrastructure improvements, and service has returned to normal. Thank you for leaving your router powered on during the update window and for your cooperation throughout the maintenance period.
Any routers that were not online during the update window will be identified through our exceptions process, and customers will be contacted to arrange completion of the firmware update.
If you experience any issues following the update, please contact our support team.

Work has started on releasing the update

As part of our infrastructure improvements, all routers will receive a firmware update during this week. Updates will run between 05:00 and 06:00 (UK time). During each update, the router will reboot and then reconfigure itself, which may cause a brief interruption to connectivity.
Action required
To ensure your router receives the update successfully, please leave your router powered on overnight throughout the week commencing 11 May 2026. If your router is switched off during the update window, it will not receive the new firmware and may need to be updated manually at a later date.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions or experience issues following the update, please contact our support team.

Week commencing Monday 11 May 2026, with completion expected by Friday 15 May 2026.
We will be migrating our UK infrastructure to a new data centre as part of our ongoing hardware upgrade programme. This move will allow us to deliver improved connectivity and a more reliable service to our customers.
What to expect
Any service downtime associated with the migration will take place outside of business hours, between 19:00 and 22:00 (UK time). We will keep disruption to a minimum wherever possible.
What you need to do
No action is required on your part. We recommend planning any time-sensitive activities outside the maintenance window where possible.
